Not as sore as I thought I would be & challenge updates

Actually, if  I sit still, I forget that I'm sore at all. Then if I move suddenly - yipes! But, all in all it's not too bad. I'm going to fill up my water and work out for at least 20 minutes here at home and then back to housework. I'm helping an old family friend this afternoon who is afraid to drive her sister through the city for her eye specialist appointment. I'm hoping the Dr. will be able to help her recover some of her sight - she has macular degeneration and one eye is responding to treatment better than the other at her regular doc. Crossing fingers that the specialist will have some new ideas.

I'm back on track with my challenge goals and have even achieved a new low - if not by much. Still, I've gotten that scale going in the right direction and putting weight loss back as my top priority. Sleeping more, eating fruits, blogging daily (most days 2x) and not eating unless I'm hungry. It's a good plan & I'm sticking to it!

  4. Lanie!
I enjoyed reading that you are at a new low. But, I also know that you are acknowledge the fact that you were complacent. We all get there at some point. SO, glad your friend kick started you up again!!

BTW: I love that book (Just a Pretty Face." I almost finished it today on the plane from Spain to Amsterdam. Although my story is different, my story resonates with the character. Heart breaking but inspirational. Thanks again!

  6. Sounds like a great plan to me - if it ain't broke, don't fix it (channeling my father, there). I work for a woman with macular degeneration (wet) so I know the hardship it can cause. Hope your friend responds to treatment. They've made some wonderful progress on that front.
