It's baking time for the holidays. Does anybody have any tried and true lower-calorie cookie recipes to share? I'll be doing some research on eatbetteramerica.com as well but if you have recommendations, I'd love to hear them!
I have two blogs that I follow that will help you. One is Nutmeg Notes and the other is Biggest Diabetic Loser. Both are on my profile. They make some awesome stuff!
since i am diabetic, and my mom is also, we makes cookies for the ones aren't diabetic and also sugar-free cookies made with splenda. splenda has a website. http://www.splenda.com they have lots of recipes and if diabetics have to watch their everything, including fats, sugar, calories. all that is important. so you could try there or amybe try here also, i use this place alot also. http://www.allrecipes.com there you can click for anything and they will show you what recipe is there. hopes this helps you some.
I actually do have one: http://www.delish.com/recipefinder/chocolate-chip-oatmeal-cookies-ghk0308 These are really pretty good, and I've used the brown sugar/splenda to cut the calories even further and they taste just as good.
I do not have any, but I would love to have some if you find any.

ReplyDeleteAll my cookie baking is full of calories and fat. You know, the good kind of cookies. LOL. Good luck!
ReplyDeletePersonally, I'd say they're treats for a reason. Have only one or two small, homemade treats a week and it shouldn't bring the scale crashing down.:)
ReplyDeleteI will be watching to see if you get any. Would love to get some lower calorie recipes....
