Just a quick note before we leave for church.
It's cold out and normally I don't mind, but this less-obese me is not tolerating it well. I know it's going to get a lot colder in the months to come. A few weeks ago, when BFF gave me some sweaters that she's no longer fat enough to fill out, I thought it a shame that I'd probably never wear them. Well, today I tried one on and I am nice and toasty comfortable. It fits, it's cute, and my teeth are no longer chattering.
This probably counts as an NSV. I'll appreciate it more in the summer when I'm not broiling because of the lack of insulation.
Congrats on the new sweater. I look forward to getting cold when I get skinner. Ha, Ha, just kidding I hate to be cold. That is a very good NSV...
ReplyDeleteHand-me-ups are cool and environmentally sound to boot. Enjoy being toasty!
ReplyDeleteThink of it this way, while it's cold you can wear the big sweaters and continue to lose the weight. Then when winter is over and you shed those sweaters, you will be one hot mama. :) Continued success to you, Lanie
ReplyDeleteI hadn't thought how thinning out would make me colder this winter. I'm so used to being the one sweating while all the skinny girls have on 8 layers! I'll have to go sweater shopping!

Definitely a great NSV! And i'm sitting here with my hoodie cardigan on :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great feeling for you! (Not the cold part, but the warm and toasty in your new to you sweater!)
ReplyDeleteYep, chalk that up as a NSV. Wear them with pride as you work hard to wear them out.
ReplyDeleteOMG, I planned to blog about this today...I'm freaking freezing!!!! I can only attribute it to there being less of me. I'll tell you that and not having any clothes that I fit b/c they're too big are a couple of drawbacks...but I better not complain.
