quick update

I was down 1.7 pounds today. yay! Jogging did the trick. I was afraid to do it 2 days in a row though because my right knee felt a little wobbly last night.

I'm streesed out. Long weekends do that to me. I'm sure it'll be fine. I'm eating well, but didn't exercise as much as I wanted to today. Made the choice to go to a street fair at our little suburban downtown. Whole family went & it was nice. Free cotton candy - I didn't have any of it!  We found out about a walk for a charity that is close to hubby's heart and I'm excited that we might sign up as a family to walk this 1 mile for kids.

Busy day, busy weekend, lots going on. Making good choices and continuing to move despite the cooler weather this weekend. Extra exercise tomorrow to make up for the yummies at the ballpark. No cracker jacks for me, but maybe something. . .

Oh yeah . . and I didn't buy any more kettle corn even though the same nice lady was hawking free samples I just walked on by . . .

  5. Awesome news on the loss! See I knew you could run! And great job on the smart choices. I too am leery of long weekends, but we have to learn to deal with them. Keep up the good work!

  8. Super on the loss! Have you tried finding a few lightweight braces for your knees right now? Might be a good idea until your joints get used to running, cause it would suck for your knee to go out and take you out of exercising capacity to heal...

    I am jealous in advance of your ballpark food.

  9. Passing up free cotton candy, good choice, good display of strength. Cotton candy is a neat treat, just fun stuff if I may say so. But it needs to be passed up. Kettle Corntoo,harder for me to pass that stuff up.

    Well done on the 1.7 pound loss! Keep on making those good choices, moving & losing :-)
