Read with me!

I've purchased a few new books on the Kindle . . . . anybody want to read with me?

Four Hour Body by Tim Ferriss
Unclutter Your Life in One Week by David Allen
Getting Things Done by David Allen

Now don't get me wrong - I'm not under the impression that any or all of these three books are going to change my life but they do seem like interesting reads.  And because I don't have enough crying in my life, I also got this Single Selection
Leaving Home by Jodi Picoult

So, what do you think of these books? Have you read them? Heard any reviews? Anybody wanna read along with me?

  1. I haven't heard of them. I like a good fiction crime thriller, something to scare the bajeezus outta me...then I watch Toddlers and Tiaras to put a ridiculous tint on my fear. Love that show-makes you feel smart AND sane at the same time-awesome! ;-) An hour on the elliptical just rolls by with that crap on! HAHA

  2. That's so funny...I've had one "Getting Things Done"on my Kindle wish list for ages. I just haven't gotten organized enough to purchase and read it.

Apparently I need that book more than I thought...

Maybe if I agree to read it with you I'll actually do it. What do you think?

  4. I've heard of the Four Hour Body. I'm interested - just for research sake - lol.

I should open my own, "I declutter for you," business. That would be so much fun, helping people declutter. Not hoarders, mind you, just regular cluttered people. Sounds like fun.

I just bought Cheryl Richardson's - The Art of Extreme Self-Care and Under the Dome by Stephen King. I'll review mine to you and vice versa, okay?

  5. Dang it! I just wrote a long and insightful comment and it got deleted on accident. grr. Readers digest of my previous comment:

4 Hr body- I read it and liked it. If you are poor and trying to lose weight, you could just read Tims blog from his previous book, the four hour workweek.

  9. Jodi Picoult is one of my favorite authors:) I saw the 4 hour body guy on Dr. Oz. And another blogger is doing his program.

  10. I've read a lot of The Four Hour Body. As expected, a lot of good advice and a lot of questionable stuff that I'd love to see proved right or wrong.

I read GTD too and it was well worth the read. If you read it carefully it could change your life.

  11. GTD - Read it, loved it! Beware of all the GTD "advice" from the millions online who didn't read (or perhaps read but didn't understand the book. If you "get it" it may transform the way you think and work.
