Happy Thursday

Ran again today and it didn't kill me. Some day I will invest in sports bras so I can actually run in public instead of running in place in front  of the Wii Fit while I hold my hooters so they don't trip me on the down-bounce.  Not today, though.

Usual breakfast - 1 Pepsi yummy, half a sandwich thin and 1 tbsp of natural peanut butter. Lunch was out at Applebees and under 500 calories, lots of water all day, and no snacking so far. I will probably eat my last comice before we take off for a Pampered Chef party. Something to tide me over until we get home. I expect I will sample something there but it's often Mexican type food or orther stuff that I won't eat. Yeah, I'm still picky.

We baked healthified banana bread when kiddo got home from school - whole wheat flour, egg whites. Nobody likes nuts in their baked goods here cept me so left them out. 150 calories a slice and not all that tempting for me w/o the nuts. Good healthy snack for the others.

For those that responded on my last post on hubby's eating habits, I want to clarify that I don't buy junk food for our house unless it's my Pepsi or  the occasional poptarts for kiddo. Sweetie went stark raving junkfood mad and stocked up while we were away and he was home alone.

Hot 100 update tomorrow and I'm excited. I think I'll have good news to share :)

  1. It is difficult not getting junk food with kids in the house. I totally understand. I am trying to make lifestyle changes to them too, without them realizing, of course, but I don't deny them on occasion.

Congrats on the run today. What is the hot 100?

  3. Juli, the Hot 100 is a challenge that began on the first day of autumn when there were 100 days left of the year. If you click on the link to it on the right, you should be able to find more info.

FAB - do you think I could get a sponsorship deal for Pepsi like Jared did for Subway? I can call this the Pepsi Diet - especially since so many people seem angry that I won't call it a diet.

  5. Hilarious about the hooters..and totally relatable. I have not been able to find a really good sports bra that fits well. Small town...not many shopping choices, don't want to order a zillion to try on and return. I have one, and I wear my regular bra underneath it...works well for my treadmill jogs but I have to wash it every day, or wear it stinky :o(
