Posting Promptly

I like writing prompts. I don't use them all the time, but when I want to blog or write and need some inspiration, they sometimes come in handy.  Maybe some of you like them, too. We'll find out. I have a subject that I think would make for great discussion. I would love if some of you blogged about it and then came back here to link up to it. So we can all read one another's take on the subject. At this point, I'm not going to promise to do them on a regular basis, but just put some ideas out there and see what we come up with.   I have a lot of ideas I want to explore, but it's more fun if I can see others' opinions as well.

Fat is NOT Cancer. Compare and contrast fat to cancer. Is the cancer/fat metaphor offensive to you? How is treatment for obesity different from ot her life-threatening disease?
