If I seem to be missing the next couple of weeks, it's because it's peak season for comice pears and I'm probably washing the juicy goodness off of my chins. Had my first one of the season yesterday. YUM! Heavenly!
I tried Red High Peak Pears on Sunday. I will try Comice next! I have been trying something new every week, not because it's a goal, but just because it's been happening. Anyway I'm on my way to the pear side.
Wow, I love me some fruit and i did buy some new pears yesterday, but I must say you have me beat 10-fold in your excitement for some pear chomping. Go get yourself all juicy, hold nothing back!

ReplyDeleteI love Anjou, Bartlett and Bosc, but never tried Comice. I'll have to see if I can find them.
